Oisin Community Survey Gaelic Footballers enveloping Nov 2011

Children from Oisins took part in Scor na nÓg Semi final on Saturday 12th Nov 2011 @ 7.30pm in Millenium Centre Loughguile.
Maggie McToal our club secretary stated:
Having just returned from the Scór na nÓg County Finals in Dunloy and how proud I was to see children of our club in Glenariffe representing Oisín CLG with their culture, instrumental music and song. Not only does the GAA promote and control national games it also encourages national ideals and Gaelic culture in the people of Ireland.
Oisín CLG had been absent from Scór participation for over 30 years. Their 2011 participation is one prime example of the result of the meetings I have just mentioned namely the Club Maith meetings. It is a credit to the children and their teachers Sylvia McKavanagh and Christine McSparran on reaching the finals.
